Method of calculation and interpretation
We observe on the curve of price corresponding to a significant trend and we draw a line connecting the highest and the lowest (or vice versa)on this period.
For the "Gann Grid", draw two sets of parallel lines:
• A first set of lines parallel to the preceding line, each one spaced from each other by a unit of time.
• A second set of parallel lines, slope opposite to the previous series, each spaced from each other by a unit of time.
This grid is a set of lines of support and resistance. When the price crosses a line of trend, Gann considers that the aim of the price is the next line and so on.
